When you visit Pure Medical Spa for a Sculptra treatment for cellulite, we will map out the sites for the injection, apply a topical anesthetic, and begin the injection process. The entire appointment for the treatment takes about 30-45 minutes.
Most patients receive injections over the course of a few months. The number of treatments will depend on the severity of dimpling and size of the target area.
The results of a Sculptra cellulite treatment can last for years, with patients reporting effects lasting anywhere from 2 to 5 years.
There may be some redness and mild swelling where the treatment was administered. You may also experience tenderness and bruising. We recommend patients apply an ice pack wrapped in a cloth to the affected area to minimize these effects.
You should be able to return to your regular activities after the treatment. We will advise you on post-treatment care for the area to ensure maximum results.
